Keep it Real
Outdoor apparel leader Marmot understands the value of showing consumers that their gear makes adventures better. That’s why sending everyday athletes on a heli-ski adventure to some of the most extreme terrain in British Columbia to document their experience was a no brainer for their winter campaign. I brought my experience planning and producing authentic storytelling to help deliver on marketing and product messaging objectives. Casting real athletes, securing one of the top snow photographers in the world and managing logistics of a backcountry ski experience from start to finish and then delivering assets and storylines to fuel content needs came easy for me as this is one of MANY adventures throughout my career that I have had the privilege of leading for outdoor brands.
As always I look for ways to amplify content outside of a brand’s channels. Securing a partnership with The Outbound Collective allowed us to extend the reach to our target audience. See how I made that happen HERE.

I have years of experience developing and managing Brand Ambassador programs. It started with a look at Marmot’s marketing objectives and creating a content and channel strategy to support the storytelling required to achieve those objectives while tapping in the community of outdoor enthusiasts. We pulled together a robust annual program that started with recruiting some of the best adventure athletes out there and created a process and platform to brief them with Marmot’s ongoing content and messaging needs. The program has evolved and is known as the Marmot Mountain Club.
