Authentic Storytelling.
You can shoot an apparel catalog in studio or nearby location…or you find real people who are passionate about incredible travel adventures and capture their stories along the way. Working with Royal Robbins took me to Costa Rica, Japan, Denmark and the Farrow Islands. All with the goal of capturing REAL content. From concepting, casting, production and on site story capture, I helped Royal Robbins deliver meaningful content for their print catalogs, storefronts, web site, email and social channels and was involved in every step along the way.
In addition to brand strategy and creative services for Royal Robbins, I brought in my team to help with all social media channel strategy, social content creation, community management, created and launch an Ambassador team, reworked their photography guidelines as well as created and managed all email campaigns.
Highlights from the Farrows…
The design team was inspired by the beauty of the remote Farrow Islands so when it came time to shoot the current collection we designed an entire content capture project in the Farrows.
We created an itinerary that allowed us to document some of what the locals consider to be the best experiences of the islands.
We shot stills and video assets to leverage across multiple channels showcasing the product in usage occsasion
We documented to stories of locals to integrate in to different channel assets and provided consumers with an authentic take on life in the Farrows.
Highlights from Tokyo….
As a travel brand Royal tasked me with coming up with a creative way to showcase their products in a way that would create an emotional connection for consumers.
I pitched a travel experience and story that would be the foundation of creative assets to use throughout channels.
I cast ‘real’ people for an authentic travel experience to document editorially and ultimately create a shoppable experience.
Stories from the trip were integrated in to site, catalog, email and social content with the goal of engaging the consumer in a more meaningful way.
